Team Green Britain

Returnloads.Net have announced that they will be taking
part in the Team Green Britain project in association with EDF Energy
and London 2012.
Directors Steve Barton and Richard Newbold have said We are very pleased to
be a part of this Green initiative.
We are currently looking at a number of activities to help
with Britain's carbon footprint and the story does not only revolve
around the web site and its current success but also around the
green issues that are a product of the lack of empty running by
HGV vehicles in the UK.
It has been estimated that the UK Haulage industry could
save over 40 million miles of empty running by making use of the
spare capacity of their vehicles returning to base empty. This could
cut carbon emissions in the UK by a significant percentage which
in conjunction with other government initiatives currently in place
such as the LEZ is very promising
Returnloads.Net has already embraced the growing Renewable Energy Sector and are now leading the way in supplying resources to the Transport Sector to help it help Britain reach its targets.
