SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
At Fosseway Warehousing & Specialist Distribution we liaise with customers and their suppliers to plan, manage and collect products both at home abroad using our in-house freight forwarding and parcel divisions. Upon arrival at one of our warehouses we can unload any type of arriving vehicle and place your products in storage.

Product Collection from Suppliers
Weather its goods or print you can utilise our transport products for collection from suppliers both within the UK or overseas. Our Freight Forwarding division can supply a full import service via road, seafreight or airfreight.

Goods Receipt
Fosseway Warehousing is able to unload or de stuff any arriving vehicle or container.
We will undertake to check quantity of cartons and random unit check. Once we are satisfied that the goods actually received are as described on the accompanying documentation all items will submitted to storage for any given period.
Details of the received stock will be checked against the warehouse computer stock system. This will include date, style, number of pallets (received or formed) and number of items.
We will promptly notify you of any irregularities or non-compliance with agreed delivery times and of the corrective action taken.

Inventory Management
We have a fully computerised stock management system improving efficiency and keeping costs low. We can keep a check on your stock and provide management reports as and when required.

WAREHOUSING AND STORAGE
We offer either short term or long term storage coupled with the latest computerised stock management technology so that you are in control of your stock. You can even view your inventory online. Our facilities benefit from the complete CCTV security systems giving you the peace of mind that your stock is secure.

We have access to over 400,000 sq foot of warehousing which have large arctic & small van loading facilities. We can unload and palletise containers, in addition to picking and packing goods ready for forwarding.

We can organise and deliver your goods or we welcome any nominated transport organised by yourself or your customer.

We deliver into major retailers on a daily basis and understand the intricacies of their procedures and future plans. This is why we are now offering a bespoke service where we can re palletise your Short load ready for re-delivery.

Our skills have been tested in the following markets – print industry, snack foods (non-refrigerated), time critical (automotive & aeronautical), electronics, confectionery distribution and fashion (including hanging garments). Your orders can be transmitted to us via your preferred method and we will process the order complete with bespoke paperwork and complete any customs documentation if we required. Our integrated information systems provide full visibility throughout, ensuring that you know the order status at every point.
The Company is familiar with the receipt of orders by EDI link, or by email and this is the normal method of order receipt for the many other customers using our services. Typically, orders will be received, processed and despatched to mirror your requirements. Urgent orders can always be handled to suit requirements.

PICK N PACK – WAREHOUSING
We pick and pack individual customer orders ready for despatch, inserting leaflets, samples and paperwork if required. All types of fulfilment is catered for from envelopes and packets/jiffy bags to cartons and we can even supply packaging weather off the shelf or bespoke. Combined with our co-packing services we can also offer bespoke customer requirements such as gift wrapping and promotional packaging.

If the order is a full carton or pallets we can cover that sort of order processing as well.

Individual items then will be packed into any type of packaging, addressed and prepared for despatch into the mail or parcel networks. Individual cartons can also be picked and palletized.

Production of the applicable delivery documents can be provided including delivery notes, address labels or even invoices.
