Des Hartley & Sons LTD is a family run, and owned, Transport and Distribution company with over 80 years experience in the Logistics Industry.
We pride ourselves on our modern fleet of over 35 vehicles from Vans to Articulated trucks. Ranging from 1-44 tonnes our well maintained, well presented fleet can cater for almost any consignment large or small. In addition to this we also offer pallet storage and consolidation within our own secure on site warehousing facility, as well as on site service and repairs by our highly qualified, motivated team of mechanics. We currently service a small number of well established manufacturing, Retail and Public Sector Companies with whom we work in partnership with to reduce costs and optimise efficiency through the supply chain. We take great pride in offering our customer base to a manageable size, enabling us to keep better control over consignments by limiting the use of subcontractors. Since 2014 we have been working in partnership with a AAA rated International company and are now able to offer our customers competitive rates for consignments of all sizes to Russia and all Baltic States.
