Interscot Transport were established initially in Arbroath in 1990. In 1992 they were taken over and moved to the premises vacated by T&R Trucking at Mid Craigie Road, Dundee. These premises have 40000 square feet of warehousing which in the past has been packed full of jute products but due to the demise of this industry the warehouse stores mainly paper products.
Interscot have never actually owned any vehicles of their own but rely on the loyal band of owner drivers and sub-contractors that carry their goods about UK and Europe.
Interscot Transport are 1 of the main clearing houses (freight sub-contractor) in Scotland and specialize in the sub-contracting of haulage loads throughout the U.K. and Europe.
They are members of the Road Haulage Association and every staff member has a CPC in Road Haulage.
Interscot Transport will endeavour to pay all sub-contractors 30 days from receipt of Proof of Deliveries and all pallet paperwork as they realise the importance of quick payment to their sub-contractors.
