Specialised Logistics

Our milk logistics sector offers the complete solution from farm to processor, 24/7,365 days per year. Currently collecting and delivering almost 4,000,000 litres of milk per day. Operating from three main sites at Lancaster, Stoke on Trent and Chester our modern fleet of farm collection and secondary vehicles deliver the efficient competitive service the sector demands.

Suppy Chain Management

Our varied fleet enables us to offer a range of specialised logistics and supply chain management services.

Experienced in facility and supply chain management we are able to offer customers a full range of services from production line to end user. Our national coverage is supported by membership of The Transport Assiciation, a network of sixty family owned logistics businesses strategically placed throughout the UK, some of whom offer international coverage.

Pallet Force

Our Pallet Force operation covers all the LA post codes and enables us to offer a full range of pallet collection and delivery nationwide. To ensure distribution costs are minimised we operate a variable tariff to cover all consignment delivery and size profiles.

Warehousing

We operate 45,000 sq.ft. of third party warehousing enabling us to offer customers a full range of transport, warehousing and supply chain management services. To allow us to meet specific storage requirements we offer either bulk or racked space together with various mechanical handling facilities.

HGV Servicing

S. J. Bargh Ltd carry out all repairs on our own fleet of predominantly Scania vehicles. We have a Scania service and repair franchise and offer 24 hour Scania Assistance. We not only maintain our own fleet but also offer vehicle servicing to other transport operators. Our Lancaster based workshop now offers brake testing, tachograph testing and a VOSA authorised testing facility.
