Earlier last year, the production team of Flog IT! Set-up location in Tilbury, at the London Cruise Terminal. Many lovers of the show from the local area flocked to see the show in action. This isn’t just any episode, it’s set to be one of the last in the show’s history before the BBC take it off the air as part of their effort to shake-up daytime TV.

The statement by BBC expressed the show would be ending after the 17th series, with location at the London Cruise Terminal being one of the final episodes in the show’s run. During the event, presenter Paul Martin and experts Philip Serrell and Nick Davies met with fans who also checked the set for a wide range of antique goods.

Talking with former docker Les Morgan, the production also took a stroll around the Port of Tilbury showing just some of the port’s facilities. Les shared some of his memories of Tilbury as well as his time at the port of Tilbury. Members of the public were invited to view and value antiques that were later sold at auction to those who were interested.

Tilbury docks has always had a significant role to play in logistics, one of the final episodes of Flog It! Acted as a perfect tribute to the legacy behind the cruise terminal, the docks as well as the town itself.
