A traffic management summary for both new and ongoing work

M25 junctions 5 to 6
Work continues this week on an upgrade to the central reservation barrier along the M25 between junctions 5 (Sevenoaks) and 6 (Godstone), ahead of a major improvement project scheduled to start in spring 2013. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place, with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day. There will be additional lane and slip road closures as required, which will be carried out overnight when traffic flow is lowest.
M25 junctions 23 to 27
Overnight work starts on Monday 11 February to install traffic management between junctions 23 and 25 ahead of main construction work on the ‘managed motorway’ improvement project later this month.
The clockwise exit and entry slip roads at junction 24 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for four nights from Monday 11 February to install narrow lanes. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 25 for the exit slip road and via junction 23 for the entry slip road.
The carriageway will be closed between the exit and entry slip roads at junction 23 overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for carriageway upgrades and improvements. The anti-clockwise carriageway will be closed on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 February and the clockwise on Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 and Friday 15 February. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the exit slip road and roundabout to rejoin the M25.
M25 junction 7
The northbound M23 link road to the anti-clockwise M25 carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 11 February for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 8.
The anti-clockwise M25 link roads to the north and southbound M23 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 12 February for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 6.
The clockwise M25 link road to the northbound M23 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 13 February for structure maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 8.
M25 junction 17
The clockwise exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 14 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route to junction 18 for the exit slip road and via the M40 junction 1 for the entry slip road.
M25 junction 18
The clockwise exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 15 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 20 for the exit slip road and via junction 17 for the entry slip road.
M25 junction 25
The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am from Monday 11 to Sunday 17 February for tunnel maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 24.
The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight between 11pm and 2.30am on Friday 15 February for tunnel maintenance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 24.
M25 junction 27
The clockwise M25 link roads to the north and southbound M11 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for five nights from Monday 11 February for electrical work. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 28.
M1 junction 4
The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 14 February for drainage work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 1.
M1 junction 6
The northbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am for two nights from Monday 11 February for electrical work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 8 for the exit slip road and via the A405 to the M25 junction 21a for the entry slip road.
M1 junctions 6 to 5
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5.30am for seven nights from Wednesday 13 February for structure maintenance. On Friday night work will start at 11pm. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A405 and A41.
M40 junction 1a
The eastbound and westbound M40 link roads to the clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 11 February for carriageway repair work. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the M25 junction 14.
The westbound M40 link roads to the clockwise and anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 12 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2.
The eastbound M40 link roads to the clockwise and anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 13 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 1.
A282 junction 1a
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 11 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2.
A282 junction 1b
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Monday 11 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2.
A282 junction 2
The northbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Tuesday 12 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 1a for the exit slip road and via junction 3 for the entry slip road.
The southbound exit slip road, including the link road to the eastbound A2, will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Wednesday 13 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 3.
A1 junction 1
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 15 February for carriageway repairs. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via junction 2.
A13
The eastbound A13 link road to the southbound A1089 carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 5am on Thursday 14 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A128.
The westbound A13 link road to the southbound A1089 will be closed overnight between 11pm and 5am on Friday 15 February for litter clearance. Road users will be directed to follow a fully signed diversion route via the A1012.
